BD4 FAMILY: Covers our work with the under 5s and their families. Each week during term time BD4 Family offers Parents & Toddlers, Tots Unlimited and Little Gems. Most meetings take place in the Church Hall of St Johns Bowling Wakefield Road/Neville Road Bradford 4.
Parents & Toddlers Each Monday morning about 20 to 30 parents and carers and their children meet together in the church hall having tea and toast. There is an excellent range of play equipment for toddlers and babies. Each week a health visitor attends to provide support and information.
Tots Unlimited is a playgroup on a Wednesday for children from 2 - 5 years alongside their parent or carer, aiming to equip the children for nursery or school and to help them develop socially and emotionally.
Little Gems is a See & Know session each Friday afternoon for 2 year olds + and their parents
CALEB ALCOHOL & DRUG SERVICES: Caleb operates from "Caleb's Place" at 21 Bolling Road just above the Interchange, near the centre of Bradford. It exists to help those who WANT to be drug/alcohol free, to BECOME free, and STAY free. We have a Structured programme, dedicated staff, and use the 12 Steps , to provide an effective, top class service.
In addition we run Caleb Cafe every Friday (1pm) which is a drop-in for those interested in finding out more about how Caleb can help them. Visitors get a free lunch. recycled clothes, crafts, internet access, computer games and table tennis are also on offer.
